JUST SHEET IT: Elizavecca Deep Power Ringer Mask Red Ginseng Review

Hey babes!

I have another item sent from Elizavecca to review today! It's a mask from the Deep Power Ringer Mask line in Ginseng. Other masks in the line come in different flavours, each addressing different skin issues. This particular one claims to whiten, improve wrinkles, and make skin "shiny" (which I assume to mean hydration). Luckily I don't really have any wrinkles to improve, but I still have a bit of PIH that I'd like to get rid of.

One of the first things I noticed about this mask once opened was the strong fragrance. It has a very intense, medicinal herb sort of smell. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of this smell and I found it super distracting - it definitely lessened my enjoyment of this particular mask. The mask material itself was very soft and clingy, which I liked. The mask was super saturated with essence too - as soon as I put it on, it began to drip down my neck.

However, I found the fit of this mask to be a bit off. Most masks are a bit big around the forehead area, but only by a few millimetres. This one stuck out at least a 1/4 inch from ear to ear above my hairline. The eye holes were also freaking massive - I initially though I might have accidentally stretched the mask, but no amount of tugging and adjusting would make them fit properly.
I kept it on for about 25 minutes and my skin definitely looked as it usually did after masking - soft, hydrated, and with a bit of surface redness evened out. The packaging doesn't have the ingredients list in English, but I was able to track it down online. Taking a look at it, it's great to see Niacinamide at the top in a mask that claims to whiten. Witch Hazel Extract is a welcome addition too - I love it for my skin!

Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Niacinamide, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Portulaca Oleracea (Common Purslane) Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Phellinus Linteus (Black Hoof Mushroom/Meshima) Extract, Monascus/Rice Ferment, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Velvet Extract, Ubiquinone, Adenosine, Carbomer, Arginine, Chlorphenesin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Vincetoxicum Atratum Extract

Overall, despite the strong smell and odd fit, I did like how my skin looked after using the mask. I'd like to try the other masks in this line! Overall this gets a 3/5 from me.

Have you tried anything with ginseng before?
