Hey Girls!

Today I have an Australian indie polish to share with you! Fatal Attraction is a polish from Femme Fatale from their 2013 Valentine’s Trio. It is described as  a “deep magenta polish with scattered holographic particles in a rich burgundy.” It has a jelly base, so here I’ve layered two coats of Fatal Attraction over one coat of Zoya Blaze to avoid VNL (Visible Nail Line).

My photos have captured it a little bit more red than real life – in real life, it’s more berry-toned than I was able to capture. It is also INCREDIBLY sparkly. I felt like I was wearing crushed rubies on my nails. My pictures really do this polish no justice at all!

Fatal Attraction will dry gritty due to to the glitter in the formula, so use multiple coats of top coat to be safe. I managed to smooth it completely with one coat of Rica Glossy Glam, however you can see that I got some mad shrinkage (boo!) – I have heard that GG sometimes doesn’t play well with jellies, and I think that is the case here.

However, the crazy shrinkage I got hasn’t put me off – as I write this post, I’m still wearing Fatal Attraction 4 days after putting it on, and I don’t think I’ll be removing it until I really have to!
